Why are we a part of Migszol?

• We feel the need to contribute to the Hungarian society
  
  
• Migszol is one of the only English-speaking civil society groups in Hungary
  
  
• The work of the group relates to our previous experience or studies
  
  
• We share an interest in refugee/immigration issues and believe in the importance of the cause
  
  
• We wish to learn more about the refugee law and policy in Hungary
  
  
• We believe  in grass-roots organizations’ effectiveness in comparison to established NGOs that receive funds
  
  
• Migszol is a “reality check” and counterbalances our daily work
  
  
• We are unhappy with the current the lack of refugees’ voice in the the current NGO field
  
  
• There are many similarities between the situation of refugees and other disadvantaged groups in Hungary
