Police.hu’s article about the capture of 29 migrants in 24 hours: 10 Kosovars, 14 Iraqis, 3 Afghans, and 1 Syrian on trains to Austria, and a Nigerian migrant was travelling on a coach bus to Vienna.
A short article on Police.hu summarizes the capture of 190 migrants (from Kosovo, Syria, Iraq, Cuba, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh), some of whom came on a freight train. They all requested asylum
Promenád.hu writes about how the police discovered 3 Syrian women who were travelling in a car driven by 2 Iraqis, captured with the help of the heat camera. The Iraqis are charged with smuggling.
Origo.hu publishes the story of the weekend capture of 912 migrants with this glorious headline. A small bus driven by a Portuguese man slipped on the road and ended up in a ditch. His passengers, 29 Syrians and Iraqis, were not injured.
Another article on Promenád.hu about the activities of citizen guards who caught 171 migrants in one weekend (Syrians, Albanians, Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, and Kosovars). The author, who also wrote the other articles on the citizen guards, complains that while there are migrant families there are also ‘less friendly’ groups of refugees who the guards had to look for in the forest for hours (Maybe they did not want to be caught?)
Also, he reassures us that the citizen guards in Ásotthalom ‘work day and night so that they can catch the border offenders still outside populated areas so they will not be able to disturb the locals’.
444.hu’s short article about police capture of Kosovars, Syrians, Afghans, and Iraqis, many of whom were children. Diamondbridge.hu has an interesting headline: ‘Is Csongrád the favourite of border offenders?’ and also posts a photo. Válasz.hu publishes the story with a dramatic headline of ‘Almost 300 illegal migrants crossed the Hungarian border’
A short article on police.hu describes how police caught 2 Hungarians who tried to take 18 Syrians and 2 Iraqis in one car to Germany. The migrants seem to have come from Bicske camp because the police took them back there.
Hvg.hu publishes a story about how border guards detected refugees getting into cars (with the help of a heat camera). The 7 migrants (Syrians, Afghan, Bangladeshi, Iraqi) and the two Ukrainian smugglers were caught a little bit later. The migrants asked for asylum. Check out and enjoy the video.
Kisalföld.hu (like many other media) reports on the story of how police stopped a car full of people. The driver ran away and 16 migrants were hiding in his car. The eight Afghans, five Iraqis and three Syrians told the police that they had been travelling from Turkey for the last ten days and they got into the car in a forest in Serbia. They were on the way to Germany. No real indication if they asked for asylum.
Beol.hu gives details about how first, 2 Iranians and 7 Iraqis, were caught at the Battonya train station and later another 2 Iraqi migrants were found at the bus station. They all asked for asylum.
